RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Research at FaunENORD, supported by biologists with varied and complementary expertise, takes many forms and helps us to better understand the Nord-du-Québec region. Through our research initiatives and various projects in collaboration with external researchers, including the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC) and the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), we gather new knowledge everyday.

FaunENord is recognized as an industrial partner of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Center of Canada (NSERC) and as a collaborating member of the Chair in Sustainable Forest Management (SFM). Through these recognitions, we can collaborate with many scientists from across the country to develop and conduct joint research projects on our natural environments and their species.
